About the Furry Study
First, thanks to the many people who took our survey.
Research Team Members Professor Scaletta, Nick, Adam, and Justin spent several days hard at work at collecting surveys. There were nearly 300 surveys collected. In addition to that, 3 classes of my students at Niagara County Community College (in Sanborn, NY near Niagara Falls) also completed a similar survey for comparison purposes.
If you were one of the folks who completed the survey, you know that even though it was only 2 pages there were lots of questions asked and topics covered. That means lots of data entry time. I do not have grad students to do this time consuming task, it is done by just me. So it will be a while before results are completed.
What happens next is all of the data from the surveys will be entered into a statistical analysis. This will take some time just to get the data transcribed into a data base. It will be a while before we have actual results but I will post findings from the study here as we go along.
Some results will be posted within a few weeks while others will take longer to determine.
Our research team is very interested in having comments and helpful suggestions for future furry studies and we will read visitors' comments with keen interest. Also if you have specific comments or questions you may contact me directly at kgerbasi@niagaracc.suny.edu or kcgerbasiphd@earthlink.net .
If you send me your email and ask me to put you on the "Furry Results List" I will make a list and notify you everytime I post new results to this blogspot.
PLEASE BE SURE IF YOU EMAIL ME TO PUT "FURRY STUDY" IN THE SUBJECT LINE. THAT WILL INSURE YOUR EMAIL DOES NOT GET INTO THE JUNK FILE. UNFORTUNATELY JUST LIKE YOU, I GET WAY TOO MUCH JUNK MAIL. THANK YOU AND I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU!
